JB is a student at Hills College majoring in Agriculture Business. He will be graduating in the spring of 2023. He’s a member of the Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo Association.
Weston is currently a freshman at Murray State College majoring in Agriculture Communications/Safety. Upon graduation he has a desire to become a Safety Manager and administration. Weston has been competing in rodeo since he was six years old and competes is the Tie Down event.
Denesha is a student at Prairie View A&M University persuading her master’s in business administration (MBA). A portion of her undergrad work focused on Agriculture Science. Denesha has participated in the Bill Pickett Invitation since 1995. She is currently a business owner and has a desire to lead a large organization.
Kennedy is a senior at DSST Green Valley Ranch High School. He is active with the Black Student Alliance. Kennedy will attend Morehouse University in the fall of 2023 persuading a bachelor’s in finance and business administration.
Lindon is 13 years old, and his family is embedded in the rich history of the Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo (BPIR). He competed as a youth and has a motivation to follow in his brothers and father’s footsteps, by becoming a champion Calf roper.
Jermaine is 11 years old and a 4th Generation Cowboy with the Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo following in the footsteps of his grandfather. His long-term goal is to win a Calf Roping world title and build an arena in his grandfather’s name.
